Say hello to “Gunner Rigg”!
After seven years and 170,000 miles of faithful service-it became clear that it no longer made sense to continue repairing our Kia Soul ‘Black Eye’ (it’s namesake a Starbucks coffee drink). It was hard to part with him as he has carried us out of some deep life valleys and on to better days together. On the road Black Eye was our one constant and familiar comfort-the fifth member of our family unit. So it was bittersweet to say goodbye and drive away with a new Kia yesterday.
At the same time there is an excitement with yet another new beginning! We’ve dubbed the new Kia “Gunner” in part because of his titanium color but also because-as Allen’s Mom pointed out-a gunner protects his soldiers so they can advance. I love that. Special thanks to Papa David for spending the day at the dealership wheeling and dealing for us ❤️
Happy Mothers Day 2017! My husband and I have been married 48 years. We discovered you this morning and your ministry blessed us as we are both recovering victims of divorce. The Holy Spirit convinced us to listen to your testimony this morning. You both tapped into long-forgotten hurts on this beautiful Sunday Mothers Day. We pray God’s richest blessings on your three beautiful spirits.
